I don't think the Rangers can afford to pay such a steep price.

My guess, swap jones out for one of schneider/lundkvist and we are done with this whole mess. Jones doesnt fit.

The Sabres have made it clear they don't want veteran players back, they had no interest in Buch. It will either end up being a 3 way deal with Strome going elsewhere to get picks and prospects to use or we will trade Strome separately to recoup younger assets. I can see us signing Ritchie but I certainly hope not at that price and length as Fox, Mika, Kakko, Blais, Miller, and Laf will all get raises over the next 2-3 years.
