That’s funny thinking Caufield or Suzuki would be untouchable in a deal with Eichel.

Suzuki, probably. Simply because trading him would reduce the value of adding Eichel. If Montreal trades for Eichel, it's to have them both and secure the top 6C positions for the foreseeable future.

They to lost the habs in the playoffs

The past four years, VGK has made the playoffs. One resulted in a first round loss, 2 conference finals, and Stanley Cup final. Not sure your point or you just started watching hockey this year.

FYI I been watching hockey for five years I started watching when I was turning 7 and u prob started watching when Vegas came into the league and again that’s not my point I’m saying they disrespect their players and that the fan base is lucky bc they never had any bad seasons

VGK is my second team, I’m a Detroit fan (profile pic) and have been following the sport for more than four years. I don’t even know why I’m writing this out because you clearly are having a hard time articulate any point as to why Caufield is worth more than Eichel. I get it you’re new to the sport and young so you don’t have fully developed thought process or experiences to relate to so I don’t mean to this to be mean. Clearly you think Caufield is some generational scorer like Ovie but that’s far from the truth. Could he be a 30 goal scorer in the NHL some day sure, maybe even 40 at some point (much lower chance). Here’s some universal facts, defensemen & centers are positionally more import and thus have more value than wingers especially small offensive wingers. You pointed to an NCAA goal total which is irrelevant because most elite prospects have graduated to playing pro by then (same is said about his NTDP production). You pointed to 2 goals in a season where he was injured and still close to PPG and easily outpaced your whole team. He’d easily be the most important player on your team without question.

    Detroit declines, player not useful.
