Yeah they’ll just pick Wright and use him as an enticement to bring matthews in free agency. That trade makes no sense for the timeline they’re on

Shane Wright is being compared to Crosby. Why the héll would Arizona give that away with 3 years of entry level cost control, then likely an 8 year extension? We all love matthews but you’re not getting the best defensive prospect in the system plus a cost controlled generational talent. That would be a ridiculous trade for Arizona
