No I can’t see it. Perhaps if there hasn’t already been lots of change I could see it but Sakic understands the health of a dressing room. The presidents trophy winners will already have a very different room with Graves, Calvert, Grubauer, Bellemare, Saad, Donskoi, Timmins etc all moving on. Unless Sakic is trying to land a big fish of someone 5M or more in cap space there’s no way he moves Compher. He’s slightly overpaid but is still a quality NHL’er.
