I know fans are down on Mikheyev after his unproductive offensive season, but to me Mikheyev could play on the top two lines as "Hyman". He certainly is a good forechecker and corner man.

Yeah I'm big on Mikheyev. I think he has great speed, great tenacity, and good (not great) hockey sense. Unfortunately since his wrist injury his finishing has been garbage. Because of that I think it makes him less ideal on the top two lines as how many times did he have a beuatiful setup by Tavares or Nylander or M/M last year and just flub it? That's why unless he gets it back as more time passes since his injury/surgery, I think he's a good third line checker

To expand, I think that third line above could be an excellent checking line, with breakout speed for counter attacking

I noticed his wrist was causing problems during this season especially when he he was on breakaways. But honestly I think we will see the guy from the 2019-2020 season ago show up. He should be used to the injury by now and have adapted his shooting to deal with it.

Plus if we could the 5 goals taken away he would have 12 goals and 10 assists during the 2020-2021 season which aint bad. This season I could see him getting 30 points especially if he is playing with AM and MM.

They also brought his former center from the KHL in Semyonov so thats a bonus.
