That's pretty bad for Senko. Both Komarov and Hickey are overpaid cap dumps that'd likely cost second rounder each for NYI to dump. So if we assume that those two thirds equal one second, that means you get Bellows and Wilde in return for the guy. I just don't see it happening like this.

STL is a playoff team, and they should trade Senko in a way that's mutually beneficial for both participants.

Overpay to get rid of two NHLers who are overpayed. Komarov is clearly an NHLer, he played on the first line. Hickey proved he can be a good 6th/7th defenseman. Also has only 1 year left. And I think you are undervaluing Wilde and Bellows. Bellows was a first round pick who will most likely be an NHLer, I think he can be a top 6. Wilde was supposed to go in the first round, however he dropped to high(close to the first round) 2nd round.

Komarov was absolutely terrible as a first liner. Any NYI fan can attest to that. I can't think of a reason why Trotz would keep him there, other than "having a physical presence in the Barzal line."

Bellows is okay ish if used correctly, but placing him to 4th line won't help his development. He can turn into top 6 player by only playing in the top 6, but I don't see that as a realistic possibility in STL.

Wilde has been meh past two years. He had high potential when he was drafted, but he hasn't been able to reach that in last two years.

Bellows will be lucky to be an everyday NHL player at this point.
