I dislike that for the Blues.

Maybe I’m just over hyping Kyrou (I’m not a blues fan either).
Watching him play the Sharks more the usual this year; he’s damn good. That plus Eichel may not even play (we don’t know what’s gonna be the outcome of his surgery too) - idk..

Maybe try and swindle Adams with a new O’Reilly heist lol otherwise I wouldn’t pay up if I was the Blues.

As a Sabres fan, I'm going to try to break down the trade:

Jack for Kyrou, Perunovich, Alexandrov, Ellis, STL 2022 1st, NYI 2023 1st, STL 2023 2nd and 2 years of a 3.75 cap hit for Tarasenko and 4 years of a 1.25 cap hit for Jack.

Kyrou is a RW who at this point is projecting out to be a mid 6 winger
Perunovich is a high-skill college Dman
Never heard of the next 2 but a quick look
Alexandrov: LHD no idea on projections
Ellis: G who had a decent year
2 mid to late 1sts and a mid to late 2nd
Hickey and Komorov

AND a cap hit of 5m the next 2 years(ok sure), then another 1.25 the 2 years after it.

The only pieces of quality is Kyrou, Perunivich and 2 1sts really, and there are 4 negative pieces in komorov, hickey, 2 cap dumps.

Man this isn't even close. Its another bunch of spare parts trade, here's a quantity of meh, does that add up to the quality of Jack? End of the day, so many people are undervaluing the fact that they are getting a guy who has shown to be one of the best young Cs in the game. Sure there is risk there, but if let's say the surgery works(as I assume it will)...then you're getting Jack F****** Eichel.

Think you looked up the wrong Alexandrov - he's a 20 year old center drafted in 2nd round in 2019 - NIKITA ALEXANDROV #32. Coltin Ellis is a really good young goalie and probably better right now than the two guys the Sabres will be playing next year in net. You only have to eat Komorov and Hickey for 1 year - (you will need to make it to the cap floor). Yes the retention on Eichel is mainly because he still has not had whatever surgery he is going to have replacement or fusion so him being ready for this year is a question mark.

I'm pretty much assuming Buffalo is now going for Shane Wright in 2022 and Connor Bedard in 2023 but maybe you have other plans.

I understand you don't like it but think it's a pretty good return considering all the factors. I'm sure there will be Blues fans saying Hell no...

TBH I think Adams would be stupid not to take this deal.
Kyrou is that young NHL forward. Definitely top 6 not middle 6.
Perunovich is a damn good D prospect.
2 1st round picks in a deep deep draft.

That right there is 4 pieces that Adams was looking for.
Plus alexandrov
Not to mention Hickey and Komorov. Do you really want a team of 20 year olds okposo and skinner? Just because they are older doesn't mean they have negative value. They help culture and can be flipped at trade deadlines.

As a blues fan it would be hard to lose Kyrou AND perunovich but Eichel could be worth it.

I dont know man. I dont think it's worth it for Eichel especially if he's dead set on surgery which hasn't been done on any athlete in a contact sport.
