Ryan Poehling was a first round pick and projects to be exactly what Dvorak is now is 3-5 years. He is the main piece of the deal, not the second round pick

Poehling and a 7th don’t get you Dvorak.

A prospect projecting to be the player you’re trading for in 5 years isn’t really enticing.

The Atlantic is tough this year and the Habs may not make the playoffs. They can't risk losing their first rounder if it is in the top 15, especially since the draft is strong this year

Would Chris Tierney be a good alternative as a defensive 3C? It was not his best year last season, but would be cheap to get and would let KK have the best wingers as 2C, I don't know what you guys think

Is Tierney really that much better than Jake Evans?
