I would get Hughes out of there, and maybe Carlson. Both are pretty useless if their not running the PP.

I agree that Debrincat is better.

I think Connor is better if you think the team is lacking scoring but when it comes to defensive play or transition you take the other guys

Demko is probably the third G
And Petry is very very good but at his age he could very well regress

Yeah i think you have a great point with Carlson and maybe another player would be a lot more effective.
Hughes I do think has more to his game

Like what? He’s one of the worst defensive defensemen in the league. At 5 on 5 he isn’t very productive. If Hughes isn’t getting top PP duties he’s barely an NHL regular.

He could regress, but he’s still clearly better and also 3 years younger than Suter.
