Description
An Eichel trade where the Avs gets involved. Zibanejad has a NMC and in this trade scenario he rejects going to Buffalo but agrees on a move to Colorado....and yes Colorado won this deal imo ;) and I can see that NYR is overpaying. Drury is probably better at trade deals than me ;)

Colorado gets Zibenejad for next to nothing.

Rangers basically give up Zibenejad, K'Andre, Georgiev, Kravtsov and a 1st...for an injured Center with a $10M Cap hit.

Less than ideal.

I feel like Buffalo makes out like gangbusters here. NYR overpays. And Colorado... my goodness that's excessive. Mika is a UFA this year...

Kadri isn't as good as you think. More like Strome is the likely candidate out of NYR. Zib will cost you a LOT more.

Talk about getting shafted in a deal. I guess this is cause of the crap deals we typically see for Eichel. Boy if something like this happens Drury better be fired to the moon. Literally would screw up everything we’ve tried to fix the past couple of years with the rebuild.

Guess we better pray the Drury isn’t dumb enough to do this and if he did that Jones, Robertson, Lundkvist and Schneider all step up big time and realize their potential.

That’s what you have to pay to get your new Eichel toy.

What do you expect ? Zib and Kadri are UFA’s, Zib wants 10M, nobody wants him, NYR just want to get rid of him, if they get Eichel, they get a great 1c for years to come.
