If I'm Buffalo, I'd do this deal. Poehling is nothing more than a depth guy with upside, but the other 3 pieces and the first is right up BUF's alley.

They probably would do this deal at this point. But this isn't an overpay by any means. I still don't see a trade in the Sabres division with out Caulfield or Suzuki.

I'm doubtful that Buffalo will trade within the division, however if they were to, I believe Montreal would be his destination.

Romanov could be replaced with a first if the habs are unwiling to lose him.

Don't worry, Habs love trading young Russian defensemen for underproducing forwards. LOL

Replace Romanov with a first and Primeau (since we need him and they dont) with Mysak and a second

The rumour was Romanov Kotkaniemi and a 1st for eichel so Overpay for eichel
