If all of the prospects end up being solid nhl players this is a good looking team on paper.
The cap will probably go up a bit by 2023 but even without it this team has a lot of room in cap space 26.5m.
The team needs to spend ~7.6m to get to the cap floor and if they barely squeak by it that's 18.9m left for the next year.
I'm interested in this because in 2024-25 Raymond, Seider, Berggren & Ras will all hopefully be playing well enough for a raise.
18.9 divided by 3 is ~6.3 each and that doesn't account for Ras.
We don't know if each player will mature this quickly or how great they will be but if those 3 or 4 play very well that's the most the Wings could spend.
I know Yzerman is intelligently stingy on salaries but if Ray, Seider, and Berg end up being big contributors they will get paid.
Edit: This cap also assumes Larkin takes a 100k paycut per year for term.
Also I hope Nedeljkovic ends up being a solid rock in net and might fetch more than 4m a year but that scrambles cap space even more.
