Vegas refused to trade Krebs for Eichel, why would they for Zibinajad?

So the Sabres get 3 cap dumps, 2 prospects, and a 1st for Eichel?

Not sure you know how stubborn the Sabres have been with their asking price.

Counting Georgiev as a cap dump is a huge reach. I see it as a potential starter, 1st, and 2 top prospects and two dumps (they gotta hit the floor anyways and they are both serviceable guys). They probably flip Smith at deadline. In my eyes this is quite the return.

If they got Zib signed to an extension AND get 4+M in cap space for the upcoming year, that is worth a single good prospect in my eyes.
