Buffalo easily declines, Holtz is the only decent piece. You're not getting Eichel without your 1st round pick not being attached.

Even with Eichel there's still better teams in the east then New Jersey.

He's okay, The picks are a joke noway is New Jersey getting Eichel without sending a 1st round pick back. Adams wants equivalent to 4 1st round picks and this doesn't cut it.

Severson = 1st +
Holtz = 1st
Boqvist + picks = 1st

So maybe not terribly off
But Severson wouldn't be the guy - Sabres would want Smith, Bahl, Mukhamadullin or Luke Hughes.
Also, Devils have two good centers already.

So if Devils were to deal for Eichel, they would likely have to part with Hischier (plus a small add).

Hischier plus a small add...i assume that small add is a 1st a 2nd and a couple prospects?
