The Avs should make a push for Palmeri IMO. He still hasn't officially signed with NYI.

yeah

Saad interchanged LW/RW a bit with Burakovsky when he was on the 2nd line. In the 2nd half of the season Saad played mostly with Nichuskin and Jost at RW on the 3rd line though.

Not really, he played all over the place but in the Top 6 Saad played LW on that line. he didn’t work on the right side as well (he was 1LW at times in the Knights Series) and played left the majority of the time on the avs top 6

Eric Staal would be a better target than Palmeri IMO (not thrilled about Palmeris underlying and will cost too much). Newhook will be in the Avs top 6 and if they bulk up the 3rd line with Jost Staal and Nuke. And Compher really can be a bounce back candidate next season, he was awful the first 3/4 of the season when they tried to play him at C, he has always been better t RW, once he was put back there he looked like a different player

They don’t need a 2RW, that’s Burakovsky and Newhook is going to be the 2LW. Rackell is a long way removed from the guy that had one of the best contracts in the league.
