    I think you're way off on Letang and Malkin's salaries. I'd peg Letang around $6/$6.5M mark and Geno somewhere between $7M-$8M.

    Malkin has 102 points in his last 88 games why on earth are many people projecting his next deal at between 5-6M$ it's almost certainly ~ 8M$

    He somehow only got 17:44 TOI last year

    Which explains his low numbers

    Yeah. While I think Rust is worth the value that trade under contract, he's not worth it for his UFA rights.

    I think this last season should be forgotten when comparing what he can do. He admittedly didn't train properly in the off-season like a lot of players in this weird year and dealt with injury issues.

    The pick from the Rust deal could easily be like 20th overall and along with Kempe that's just so so much to give up for the albeit sneaky good Rust

    If Letang and Malkin take that low of contracts, they need at least 5 year deals and full NMC’s
