At that point, it makes no sense for the Habs to trade for him. Why mortgage so much of your future for a guy who is so high risk high reward? I'd much rather keep all the pieces the Habs are giving up here.

Take out Guhle, and 2022 3rd Buffalo would still say yes.
Or take out Caufield and Buffalo would most likely say yes.
Of course that is just my opinion.
