My only other guess is maybe Vatenen. The rumor is that Chara will only sign on the East coast and the islanders are the only team left that hasn't announced their signings lol

I would be down for chara, at LD3 playing with dobson. Also remember leddy played a lot of minutes, more than a typical 2nd pair dman. Its not just a "2nd pair guy" we need to get but we need people to fill those minutes.

I don't think the rumor/likely scenario for Sorokin is a three year deal. It makes no sense for the player or the team to sign anything more than a 1 year deal.
