That tkachuk deal takes him directly to UFA without buyout any UFA years.

Ideally you want the cap to at least be 90 mill in 5 years while you have a guy like Tkachuk and Stutzle on longterm deals. You hope one of the guys you sign longterm turns out with a contract like Connor, Pastrnak etc. Ideally if they acquired Eichel for that package and let’s say went RW shopping with secondary pieces, they could start competing by 2022-2023 like really competing
