Chiarot is the same type of dman as Savard and Savard got a first…. Yes Chiarot would get a first retained at the deadline

Chariot is not a comparable to Savard. As well, it was a 3 way deal with the middle man taking 50% of the remaining 50% cap hit so TB could afford it.

They could do that too… and I’d say that Chiarot is better than Savard he was the best habs dman in the playoffs by far
