How tf do we resign Robertson, Oettinger, Gurianov, Laine and Klingberg next year?

Pavelski and 1-2 goalies would be gone.

I did a sketch, you fit in with 36k left. Also the two last players on the roster I signed had to be on league minimum or else it was over the cap.

The year after that you’ve got to resign Hintz.

He’ll want 8 million, so good luck fitting that one.

Problem is he has a NMC and he won’t waive it, even if he waives it we’ll have to pay to move him which isn’t ideal. His buyout only removes 1 million for the fist couple of years, which means we save 1 million and we lose one of our best forwards.

All that for Laine who doesn’t play defense at all, Dallas is the most defensive team. CBJ can keep their 1 dimensional forward, it would save both of these teams trouble.

No thanks. Laine is the only Finn currently in the NHL I’d say wouldn’t fit in on this team. Even our Russians backcheck a little (Sometimes to the detriment when Radulov doesn’t give up and gets a weak call stick penalty), Laine is horrible defensively and was streaky scoring playing on a Jets that let him play the way he wanted and just put defensive responsible line mates with him, that probably wouldn’t fly in this organization.

Pass. Laine is trash without the puck. Bones would play him 10 minutes per night and 6 of it would be on the PP. And that’s honestly all he deserves
