He's...not...worth...it!

Nobody on the planet is claiming that he's a Norris level defensemen. Doesn't mean he isn't a decent top 4 option if his AAV is able to come down enough.

Dude look at his production and his +/- with New Jersey. His production has massively dipped and his ability to defend is horse manure. Why should we be giving up assets to 2 separate teams for that?

He still put up a solid amount of points and was an incredibly unsheltered player on a terrible and unlucky team last season, you think +/- is a relevant stat for anything? I can't imagine there are many Leafs fans on here that watched more than a couple Devils games last season. But the reason Fitz is exploring his options is because he's better than the bottom pairing RD he would be on the Devils.
