Can't see Ottawa giving several assets for Duchene again

BIG NO to paying Kaprizov 20 M$ per year while sending the next 4 first round picks away

They'll have enough stars and good players to pay as is.

Without even mentionning that Ottawa doesn't want to play in the OS playground AT ALL.

Apparently 4M$ extra to try and leverage Kaprizov in prime is seen as bad but every single team has an excessive 4M$ allocated to depth players

NYR for instance with Goodrow Reaves Blais

Overpaying a rare hockey genius is a much better allocation of that $ and Ottawa would just need to sign josh Leivo types for 1M$ for the next 4 years

Which is what they should do anyways
