Is this Keith just getting hurt or retiring, If retiring we get an additional 3.7Mil cap so our Salary Cap would be 86,300,000

If Keith is injured or retired - cap is easy. If he isn't, then basically need to dump Kass with assets. Doable, not ideal, but doable.

Also one of Foegele/Hyman can move to RW so Holloway can play in his left side. Lots of options.

The organization sees Holloway as a center. I think he's the 3C next season and gives the Oilers three legit outscoring lines.

Tippett is dead set against playing people on their off wings.

If holloway came in I think it would be as a 4c which would move DR to the RW

I doubt Benson is around 10 games into this season he hasnt been able to beat out the other bottom line players not even Turris.

If you get rid of Kassian Benson is doubly gone because then you need to bring in someone like curtis macdermid or Dylan mcilrath to be your tough guy.

i think Raphael Lavoie draws in if yamamoto is gone.

Only thing for Hyman is he is currently on his off wing, if Tip truly goes by handedness. He is RH. So idk if that is a definite thing.

Definitely easy to add a 6/7 D or 12/13 forward with grit at near league min. A scoring Kassian is near irreplaceable for a combo of grit and offense. But the recent Kassian is easily replaceable, and with far cheaper options.

Best scenario is definitely him being a strong 3C. I just know not to bet on players definitively being able to perform at their best as an NHL C. See RNH as Exhibit A.

RNH performed very well as a center for the better part of a decade - until 2 superstars ate his lunch. Also, I'm not sure why you think 2RW is going to be easier for a left-shot natural center to play than 3C would be.

I was never the one advocating Holloway at RW, the original poster did. In fact, what I said earlier was that Hyman or Foegele could be moved to the RW, as they both have experience there (Hyman being RH), so that Holloway can play on the left side. If Holloway can hold down a C spot, that'd be great, but just don't want to force it if it is better for him to transition into the NHL as a winger. Also yes RNH has been a great C at times, but his best performances have hands down come on Drai's LW.
