Description

Keith and Ceci play in limited minutes which could lead to better stats.

Kassians not a good player. He doesnt hit much. He doesnt really have any offensive touch either.

Benson and McLeod already have chemistry and have both outperformed Kassian (McLeod also has higher xGF% than Warren Foegele)

Not that I disagree with you, but paying over 10m to limit minutes for two Dmen seems like poor cap value. If Barrie's time with Leafs was any indication, he should never see the PK, and limit his even strength minutes.

Barrie is one of many players on this site getting the rain cloud treatment where everything he seems to do currently gets smothered in negative energy by y'all

It's unfortunate and pretty bizarre

His xGA was in the 36th percentile from 2018-20

Not even remotely close to being bad defensively

Cushy deployment and 2ndary assists only go so far

He's still quite good indeed

Did anyone here bother to notice that he has the 29th highest pts/g rate of any defense player ever in the NHL ahead of Gonchar, Rafalski and many others?

Why not play Barrie at RW even

He'd probably be as good as Perlini and Sceviour
