Don't mind Alzner, but he's 28 and most D tend to quickly peak around 30. 3-4 years MAX (if we sign him) and I'm not saying 4.5 is too much, but its more than I would want to pay.

Brodin is an excellent pickup, and i know he plays on the right side a lot, but i wonder if Babcock approves of this. its well known he likes D playing their "proper" side

yeah alzner is ultra elite, he wont be getting anything less than long term and big cash. prob 6m+++

Four years of Brodin is gonna cost the Leafs a lot more than JVR. Doubt if NJD are going to give up a maybe top 40 pick for one year of Bozak. Can't the Leafs do better than Boyle and Fehr on their roster.
