    why would we want Nilsson? You are also overpaying Ghost by 1-1.5 per

    I love Nilsson's game, I think he is a perfect (and affordable) bridge starter for Stolarz, plus he is only 26 years old too... who knows maybe he earns the #1 job. I think he would be cheaper than Neuvy and has a lot more upside too.

    I'm still not positive on Ghost's exact range, but I figure it would be anywhere between 3.25-5 mil / year. My deal is going on the assumption he gets towards the upper limit of that range. Realistically he will most likely fall somewhere in the middle.

    I would much rather sign Mason for 3 years and trade Neuvy. Stolarz Is NOT ready to start yet. The kid has played 4...yes 4 NHL games. He needs a few years as a backup and Mason can mentor him.

    Nilsson would be a good pickup. Buying out read is not
