I agree with you that Mikheyev might be the odd man out due to cap reasons. But I think his 1.6m is fair. Gotta think the Leafs keep Simmons over Anderson.

Why do people keep putting Spezza at center? The leafs need to find room to keep soupy he's 10 times the player Engvall is.

I think he has potential, but he's not gonna get it on the leafs due to injury. Anderson can do all that simmonds can but he's better offensively and defensively. In an ideal world, simmonds is an AHL scratch so that he isn't hurting the big club but can still be a fantastic locker room guy, which imo is his biggest impact on the team
