COL would NEVER do that. As MTL is about to find out Hoffman is basically a one trick pony that doesn’t play defense. If COL had any interest in him, especially after playing against him extensively last year they would have at the very least talked to him, no way in hell less than a year later they give up a top prospect who is going to be a top 4 dman for him.
