What value are we receiving?

Stillman is cap controlled and solid 3rd liner and Strome has a good offensive game when enabled. Shaw allows the flexibility with LTIR on some of the bad contracts we have.

that's the problem, you guys want to win now and this doesn't really help, the only things we could add are the third but that's just more draft capital, this really just opens up cap space for Chicago what do you think would be enough for strome because I'm not completely sure where his value lies, he scored at a .88 pts/gp when he first arrived, but had only like 15 points in 40 games last year and he's been scratched so far this year

He was playing with a concussion last year for two weeks in a shortened season until finally admitting it to the medical personal and confirmed by them, also battled an ankle injury; context matters regarding production last year. The year before, he played 20 games at wing which was a failure and saw his stats plummet. He was also out with the flu (perhaps Covid) for a week and half. Again context matters.

Separately, our genius coach doesn't see him fitting in his genius defensive system which is why he hasn't played up until tonight.

Rumours are it will take a good prospect to get a deal done. I like Strome, so if it doesn't happen and we get a new coach he could really flourish IMO.
