If Vegas needs RWs, why did you make a trade where they acquire 2 RWs by trading away 2 RWs?

The habs are never trading Gallagher and this trade doesn’t do anything for either team.

Yeah, this doesn't make any sense for either team

Maybe cause Smith is a left handed shooter and Tuch is on LTIR. Montreal could use a left handed shooter as they have too much righties and they would probably love to eventualy reunite Tuch brothers, plus Alex Tuch would eventually be a perfect fit for MTL. With Gallagher, Vegas would get a player that brings a lot more than Smith, and with Armia they get an upgrade on Roy, Kolesar and Carrier.
