Why didn't Dubas do a sign and trade ?

Wasn't a report that the Oilers wanted the Leafs to sign Hyman for 8 years - $40ish million, just so the Oilers can get that bonus year and slightly smaller cap hit.

After Dubas traded 6 Draft picks last year, you'd think he'd take a freebie from the Oilers.

I don’t remember any report of Hyman being willing to take 4 in toronto. That would be weird.
