Description

I think that Neighbours has earned a spot on the team going forward. I don't like trading away Sunny, but we have a bit of a jam at the forward position and I think he is the odd man out in terms of the positions he plays and his overall roll on the team. I do not want to stunt Neighbours growth by sending him back to juniors, and if you recall Thomas had 4 points in his first 9 games as a Blue. Neighbours already has 2 so he is on the right track to being in the same position 18 was in 2018.

As for Scotty, he can play on his off side and I think he has definitely earned a chance at the NHL level. Trading Bortz is not necessary, but it is an option in order to open that right side up.

Hasn't Sundqvist played mostly right-wing recently? Because the Habs would only be interested if he's still 3C capable.

We are not just tossing Sunny and Bortz out for trash. Just a terrible idea. And Neal should obviously be the odd man out when Sunny returns.

That leaves Kostin out as well which just doesn't compute in my mind. But again trading Bortz isn't a necessity in this situation just a way to create additional space for future resigning.

Sunny played a lot of center for the Blues during the cup run, and I think can certainly be a reliable 3C. He is tremendously underrated, and I think that a shot on a team like MTL would pay off for him.

Idk they are both solid 3C and can play wing but they are both top PK guys, they are probably the best on the team, I would think because of their reliability you could easily go for a 2nd rounder but before offloading them I would look at moving Neal and Clifford just for room but then cap space becomes an issue
