Vegas acquires Eichel while moving out barely any futures. Krebs is kept and they bet on Pietrangelo holding down the defense and Eichel getting them over the hump.

Buffalo get's a large package of future assets along with some NHL pieces for cap purposes. Podkolzin will be part of the next core there. Klimovich could explode similar to Olofsson. In addition they get a 1st and 2nd to round out the package.

Vancouver uses future assets to go all in our their defense. Moving Podkolzin is very risky, but Theodore is a stud. They now get to have one of Hughes, Theodore and Ekman-Larsson on the ice at all times, each with one of Horvat, Miller or Pettersson as their centres.

Theodore Eichel sounds like the name of a swiss inventor from 19th century but he invented something so boring that noone cared to remember

Wow I just came here to make jokes on the title but holy jeez dude this is really well done especially given the degree of difficulty of 3 way trades

My one qualm is I'm not high on podky

But being able to flip Smith for a 1st helps a bunch

That's the biggest obstacle in this by far. At least this way the Knights get to keep their young cheap talent (Krebs, Hauge, etc.) and the Canucks basically take on the burden of giving up the futures. Giving up Theodore hurts a lot, but if Eichel comes back at 80% he's still a top end center in the league and exactly what Vegas needs.
