Whatever his plan is, I would pretty well guarantee it doesn't include playing Chris Wideman in their Top 4.

Theres wasnt much in the ufa pile for RDs... dubas doesnt have $3M-$4M for a legit top 4 D

Keep Dermott, trade Holl.

Next year will be the time to let the youth sink or swim, play all 3 pairings similar minutes. Also, can reduce the vets min in the process, the 3 of them can't play 22,23,24 min per night forever.

Perhaps... im a sens fan and i would take kerfoot on the team this year to help with center depth and support for the young centers, take some pressure off them... plus hes versatile to help on the wings to let the kids play...

I see your point on the overpay though... leafs would need to lose this trade just to get his salary off their cap i.e. give him up for a bag of pucks

I am not sure what his next contract will look like... hes on a crazy pace to start this season when hes usually good for less than 10 goals per year. However i dont think the sens will try to resign him, perhaps trade deadline deal if we are out of the playoffs.
