That could be debated, depends on what you’re looking for.

Pelech for defence, Weegar for two way game, and Chychrun for offence. You can make an argument for all three.

Edit: Weegar has good chemistry with Ekblad so there’s that too.

Any of Pelech or Weegar over Nurse is a crime of omission (and I've liked Weegar for going on three years now).

Nurse is a legit first pairing defenseman in this league. They are second pair at best (and I like them fine).

Tavares and MArner look terrible ATM i would suggest going with 2 different players... Tom Wilson will get looks imo BUT i would pass on both those guys

His fancies line up with the eye test -- he's a beast out there on both sides of the puck and has steadily improved every year he's been in the league.

Have you actually watched him play, or just highlights? He's legit.

Lol give me one good reason why Nurse is better than those guys, and one good reason Hughes isn’t a 1D. Spoiler alert, 1 bad season defensively isn’t a good reason considering he’s already turned it around.

Since when Nurse is garbage defensively ? Since day 1, Nurse is not good defensively. I would take Chabot Theodore Weegar Chychrun Pelech even ****ing Morgan Reilly over Nurse
