special teams has been horrific, the coach has demoted Pettersson, Boeser, Hoglander and Garland to the 3rd line before Pearson. Also OEL and Myers is our "shutdown" pair. That shows you that team defense is non existent.

Ottawa and Vancouver seem to be built the exact same way, a good amount of high quality players but the rest of the roster is way below average (particularly on defense) to compete in this league. I think it tells you all you need to know about both managements, they just have no idea on how to surround their core.
