This puts us in a really rough spot when Kyrou, Thomas, O'Reilly contracts are done. McDonough contract is also a bit scary. He's 32 and is already starting to show some signs of aging this season. As good as he is, I think there might be some better options out there.

The habs obviously can’t afford that, nor would they give up a 1st to swap Toffoli for Tarasenko & his injury problems.

He doesnt have injury problems anymore tho it was fixed so that invalid
