I like the idea of getting Hamonic but I think thats a bit of an overpayment. 14 points in 44 games, -20 and pretty poor possession numbers, also turning 27 this summer so he should be in his prime.

Have to agree with Troy here. I think its a bit of an overpay, would take out Johnsson who is one of our better LW prospects and maybe throw in one of our RW prospects. Most importantly change that first round pick to a second or third depending on the prospect they give.

Yeah but what I'm trying to say is his defensive stats haven't been that good this year, and it's not like his point productivity is making up for that. He has the worst possession numbers by far out of the isles regular dmen - his stats are dragged a bit lower by a high % of defensive zone starts, but still his adjusted numbers aren't great. I'm not only focusing on fancy stats, hes a really good Dman and would love it if the Leafs traded for him, just think JVR, 1st round and a good prospect is too much.
