If scheif comes in under 9.5 and Copp under 5.5 I’ll be happy with both. Wheeler deal made sense at the time besides the term.

I’d be very happy if scheifele gets what couts got. But with him being consistently around a PPG I doubt he gets less than 8.5 million.

I know it’s wishful thinking on Copp but he’s realistically only had 2 years of production so maybe he’ll get less than 5.5.

Attempt to sell high on scheifele, would have paid laine and let Wheeler walk. Jets should push all in next 2 years, and trade younger before year 3 or enjoy personal career highs. And enjoy sweater retirement nights. Copps not here nor there, solid player, but not going to be a difference maker or that great of trade value. Kind of another little.
