If we're going to get involved in that kind of war, what about Noah Dobson?

I mean you think he’d sign the 5 year 4.1 million?

Islanders most likely match any Dobson offer sheet (unless it's a massive overpay).

Figured they’d match a deal like Hague’s here so I left it out

Not sure Vegas could even afford to on Hague

Can't believe I'm going to put this evil out into the world, but the Leafs are a prime OS target this offseason. Liljegren could be a good target for the Ducks, imo.

I have a feeling the Knights would match Roy, but that probably gets you Hague

At what price though?

My thinking, wasn’t so sure about Roy but thought 4+ million would be real hard for Vegas

That'd be for the Ducks to figure out. If you're going to offer sheet anyone, odds are you're probably overpaying; system was designed that way. But if you're looking at the Leafs, it seems pretty apparent that - the way things stand right now - a short term deal at low money is the best thing for them in regards to Liljegren. If the Ducks (or any hypothetical team) were to hone in on him, I don't think it'd be that hard or all too risky to make a competitive offer.
