With so much long term $ retained, this is an oddly rebuild type posture for a team with 3 elite players in their prime and a superb young core sprouting

Hello, welcome to CF.

Been quite a few Nemeth to Boston proposals but there is no interest from Boston.

Wild in no position to be taking Kreider with the cap issues they will have the next 2 years from the Suter/Parise buyouts.

Trouba is not waiving his NMC except maybe for the Islanders or Devil's his Doctor wife got her residency in a NY Hospital she's wanted.
No chance Minnesota takes that 6 year albatross that is the Krieder contract.

Sad hot take. Sure Kreider & Trouba were given the usual extra mil NYC cap fee, always sadly. Yet nay sayers still bark, while Trouba has been a beast and Kreider as you can see, has been the best net front presence for a few years running lol. Big boys, wait till trench time! Ater 24 season, tada traded @1/2 for good returns...

Krieder contract is the same issue TB has with McDonagh the AAV now is ok but 2 years from now no one is going to touch either. McDonagh at least has 2 cups with his albatross
Trouba is not waiving for his wife residency.

Again, both AFTER 24 season, can & will be traded for positive returns. Trouba 2x4m @ 31yr will be 2nd+, same with freak of nature Kreider @3.25m. Same with MacTruck, no one is taking them NOW, but near end of term & after NTCs. Although still good, MacT is getting lead foot.
