Gabriel isn't an NHL player... I remember how big of a deal Toronto Sports Network tried to make it out to be when he signed with Toronto... a fkn AHL plug lol

This trade is probably gonna be a total nothingburger. TOR still gets the edge because there's still a small chance that Krys can contribute one day, but his days of being an exciting prospect are long gone.

A salary dump for the Leafs perhaps? Krys makes more at the NHL level but they only have to pay him $70k if he stays in the minors. Gabriel gets his NHL salary regardless.
