Sure, give up 4 young 1st rounders for a 32 year old that has a cap hit that will handcuff Drury signing Strome and others after the reason. Awesome idea.

Drury is chased out of NY if he does this. Adding Kane doesn’t make the team a cup contender. They’re still a top 6 winger short so this move is beyond ridiculous.

Giving up all those prospects is bad for the team.
Then they’ll have to guy the team in the offseason to fit that contract.
A lot of harming the team to add something they don’t need.
