Lindblom is of no use to Ottawa.

Try again.

I would actually entertain this trade from the Canucks POV. They get a slightly less dynamic offensive player in Konecny but he is signed to a good contract and plays a more sandpaper type of game. Also being Horvat's cousin is a cool connection. I'd prob push for a 2nd as sweeetner. Boeser at 7.5 is too much as he's going. That said lets see how he plays under Boudreau but I am worried about Boeser's mobility and injuries.

Same, I'd push for a 2nd as a sweetener too, but I like the idea first and foremost

OHHH YEAAAA just remembered that he is bowie's cousin, that makes the hypthetical more fun
but in all honesty i still wouldnt make the trade cuz we would need a top 4 rhd in return as we that is the only probable reason why jt miller or brock boeser might get dealt is to fix our gapping hole on the rh side

This is true, however, it might be one of those that is only really replaceable via the draft for FA. Who is trading top 4 RD? The value you'd get for a Boeser isn't much. If after 10-15 games of Boundreau he still looks the same I'd trade him before we have to think about paying him 7.5 and then I'd look to extend Miller. You are right ideally it would be for a RD but if not this could help get a RD by shedding 2 mil in cap hit with a marginal if any drop in on ice performance.

Right side could be better, but I don't think it's as much of a gaping hole as most make it out to be

We've been over this on other thread @knuckl3s. It is clearly the main issue with the team. You can't compete for cups with that defense. You might on a good yr be able to compete for the last playoff spot but that would take a lot of luck.

Stfu, OEL has been good for us this season, and Myers really stepped up for us the last couple of games

ok hotheaded mf there ain’t no way in hell that they are a good “shutdown pair” when we have one of the worst defended in the league

4-0 under Boudreau, and they have actually been a very good shutdown pair this season, even before the coaching change. No, there isn't a lot of depth on their blueline, but their D-men ARE very much stepping up

Knuckles I already showed you the data that Myers is literally in the worst 1% of the league for defensive metrics. And you are still arguing he is good defensively.

Exactly, just cuz he’s been stepping up for the past few games doesn’t mean he is good defensively he still has tons of flaws

I never said being good defensively does not equate to being flawless

I could of course be wrong, I'm just confident that Myers is making good strides (pardon the pun) with his game that I hope is fairly sustainable
