Minnesota doesn't need wingers, so respectfully Minnesota will keep their 2nd round pick. Minnesota already has like a million good wingers including good bottom wingers

That probably won't happen, I don't see Minnesota getting out of a playoff spot anytime soon.

Edmonton declines, that's too much to ask for two mediocre players.

I think so too but multiple report have come out saying that chariot will fetch a first and edm is looking for a shutdown d. So there is a fit for me and that seems to be the price to pay.

Chiarot isn't a shutdown defenseman though. He's big and physical, but not very good at actually defending.

Besides, Oilers rookie Markus Niemelainen is filling the "big, physical, shutdown" role quite well right now, despite having played just 5 NHL games in his career.

Duhaime has been amazing all year! Greenway has been an amazing the past few weeks since being reunited with ek and foligno

It's not surprising you wouldn't know about Duhaime. He's a rookie in his rookie season, and while he got off to a fast start he's cooled off quite a bit since then. Despite that, he's been playing rock solid all year. He currently sits 15th in Calder rankings.

http://www.nhl.com/stats/skaters?reportType=season&sort=points,a_gamesPlayed&seasonFrom=20212022&seasonTo=20212022&gameType=2&isRookie=1

Now, here's the thing with Greenway.

Even if we decided to move him. Whether he's playing well or not, it doesn't really matter. Aside from what the potential return would be. The Wild don't need or want someone like Armia, even retained, when we have winger prospects like Boldy and Beckman on ELCs that can come in and be just as efficient and effective for half the cost. So getting a winger isn't a priority for us, as we're arguably the deepest team in the NHL as it is. If we make a move, it'll be for a top-six center need or possibly to shore up goaltending with a better backup if Kahkonen looks shakey by the TDL.
