I think they will lock him down long term. He has been pretty important to the team.

You're going to have to retain salary on the Barrie - Hakanpää deal. The Stars could probably not afford to resign Pavelski otherwise.

at 37 years old I dont think Pavelski gets more than he is getting now. In fact i think he gets less but a 2 year term.

Yea, I was think Pavs would get like 4M with multiyear or like 5M+ for single year as teams don't like to gamble big money on older players.

He's going to get paid. The way he carries the Stars' offense and the way he's defensively responsible could get him up to 6,000,000.
