Holloway is their boy. Alberta kid who plays the style they want to play and is super fast. i doubt they trade him for khubalik. Yamamoto may be available.

Holloway is to much for that package but Kubalik doesnt really make sense for trading for him. Oilers are not going to be able to afford him next year, they have to dump a few contracts just to sign Jesse.

I dont think they need to dump any contracts to sign jesse. They might be locked into smith and skinner for goalies though.

He isn't really a reclamation project he's just a 3rd line winger very good defensively and a penalty killer.

i think Kassian is gone and i dont think holland can do a Smith/Skinner tandem.
The team hasnt had a true starting goalie in 15 years. but Smith got a 2 year deal somehow so not sure how that will turn out.

if you look at kassian's buyout it is equivalent to burying him for a year then buying him out. I think they keep him one more year and bury him if he just doesnt care anymore.
