1. Labanc isn’t worth that much, not even close.
2. The Hertl trade is bad for San Jose, the first is nice but senyshen isn’t interesting at all and DeBrusk is alright but he’s another player to try and resign.
3. Don’t see Vancouver doing that
4. Barabanov playing this way is worth a 2nd at least I would think, without adding the 5th.

Vancouver doesn't want Kane. I don't think anyone does, even at 50% retained. Too much of a risk to locker room chemistry.

You forgot to mention Hertl is a rental.
Every day he's a Shark his stock goes down.
Moreover, his next contract US$$$ will also deplete his stock (downward) & it'll make many GMs say nadda, even some ACGMs...
