Price is too much of a question mark, esp with COL's only other decent goalie going to MTL in this deal. Price has shown no reason this year for teams to trust him. Teams that are going for it won't be living in the past.

Also, you can remove the first and retain Chariot and Price at 50% just as a starting point. Then swamp Kuemper for Francouz. Then add Lehkonen at 50% retention and take out Harris.

At that point I don’t see Montreal trading Price, not for Francouz. Harris is a great prospect who has no intention on signing in Montreal, and he carries some value, Price at 40% retained gives him a digestible cap hit at 6.3, Chiarot expires anyways so who cares about the 1.75M, and ultimately the first is gonna be something like 30th…
